After having faced the stigma of being obese,Parineeti didn't want to look like a sorry figure in the glam industry,so inspite of having utter despise for workouts,she embarked on them to strip away surplus kilos.It was the result of her regular and arduous workouts,that she transformed her jeans size from 38 to size 30.Rather than relying on one particular form of excercise,the slutry actress incorporated variety of excercise such as jogging,running,dancing,swimming,horse riding,yoga etc in her workout routine.Apart from them,she also embraced meditation and practiced it for fifteen to twenty minutes in a day.Meditation removes stress from her mind and helps her develop positive and wholesome attitude towards life.

Losing weight was not easy for parineeti,considering her love for food.But,with a rigorous workout regime and a strict diet plan,she has finally shed those extra pounds.Not many actors openly admit about being overweight.However,Parineeti is one of the few actresses who not just accepts,but also talks about her weight issues openly to the media.In one of her interviews,she was quoted as saying:
"I am a 25 year-old and there is no reason to look fat.I want to look great.I am losing even more weight because I want to look better."
Parineeti confessed that one of the biggest problems she faced when she was overweight was dressing up.She was sick and tired of ill-fitted clothes and having limited options of what to wear.She could not wear sleeveless and faced tummy issues too.The actress said in one of her interviews:
"I was sick and tired of clothes not fitting and having limited options on what to wear."
 Initially,Parineeti paid less attention to her weight,thinking she could get away with her acting skills alone.But,soon she realised that bollywood is all about a combination of good looks,figure and acting skills thus began her endeavour to lose weight,in order to look good on screen.

From Size 38 to 30 - Her Excercise Regime

Paineeti has been on the heavier side since her childhood.But,once she entered the film industry,her weight brought her into a lot of negative limelight.Despite having a hatred of excercise,she decided to to take up gymming.With rigorous weight training,Parineeti,soon shut up her critics by showing off her more toned avatar.

Parineeti has a tendency to gain weight easily due to her poor metabolism.Like most of us,she too loves binging on pizzas and pastas.But,this could have been a major hurdle in her weight loss journey.Here is what this Daawat-e-Ishq starlet has to say:
"I gave up pizza! It's my first love.I can let go of anything but no pizza.But I didn't have a choice."

 Breakfast

  • 1 glass of milk.
  • Brown bread with butter.
  • 2 eggs,white portion only.
  • Juice sometimes.

Lunch

  • Dal and Rotti.
  • Brown rice.
  • Green salad and leafy vegetables.

Dinner

  • Simple food with less oil.
  • 1 glass milk.
  • Chocolate shake.

Instead of being inspired by bullying comments made by people,self-motivation was far more important to parineeti.She contends that she being young shall not be bulky at an age ( mid twenty ),which actually is meant to flaunt her youthfull figure.Unlike some of the bollywood celebs such as Vidya Balan,she was not in favour of developing peace with her weight and henceforth decided to turn slim.

  • Starting the day with jogging
  • Meditation
  • Doing Yoga for an hour
  • Involving into activities that she likes,such as swimming and horse riding
  • Running on treadmill
  • Using some deadly dance moves to kill those calories along with improving her dance skills
  • Cardio and regular excersise
Being overweight certainly is not flattering for anyone,however to get rid of those surplus pounds might really put you in exhausting situations.If you too wish to drop weight but you don't have extra money to be spent on nutrition experts do hard work and get out of comfort zone
But,here is another side to the story.Apparently,she spent Rs.10 lakh to achieve her body goals! According to an industry insider who spoke to DNA India,Parineeti signed up for a detox programme in Austria
"Under this programme,the patient has to undergo several tests in order to determine what his or her body can tolerate.Depending on that,diet chart for six months is drwan,which the clients have to srtictly adhere to.And it costs between Rs.5-10 lakhs for a 15-30 day-course."

The most imperative thing needed to strip off extra calories is to allow yourself come out of your comfort zone.Be prepared to challenge yourself on a daily basis to do gruelling sweaty workouts.Usually nothing else but your self made comfort zone holds you back.When you will learn to triumph the nagging feelings,you will feel like warrior and before late,you will turn into a slender and a fitt person.
